StaffSavvy Product Update v2026.1.0 Introducing Departments & Dashboards

Two Brand New Features and 100 Updates

This release has major improvements across all areas of the software. From faster shift planning and smarter deployments to expanded reporting tools and improved workflow automation, this release is designed to help teams work more efficiently every day.

We’re excited to introduce two brand new features;

Departments - a clear company framework for larger organisations

For larger and more complex organisations, we've introduced a flexible Department framework. Departments can now be used to organise venues, control access, segment reporting, and tailor forms and dashboards to specific parts of the business. This provides greater operational control while supporting growth across multiple locations and teams.

Dashboards - greater visibility over key operational data

Data-driven decision making is now easier than ever with our new Analytics Dashboards. Organisations can take advantage of ready-made dashboard templates or build custom dashboards to track the metrics that matter most. Dashboards can also be embedded directly into staff profiles, bringing key insights closer to the people who need them

Highlight Improvements in Update v2026.1.0

Faster, More Flexible Scheduling

We've made scheduling simpler and more efficient with one-click shift swaps, improved bulk actions, smarter deployment planning, and new scheduling options. Managers can now override warnings when needed, create schedules more quickly, and manage deployments with enhanced visual controls and reusable templates.

Improved Staff, Absence and Contract Management

This release includes a range of enhancements across staff records, absence management, contracts and payroll administration. New contract minimum pay functionality, expanded absence controls, improved TOIL processing, and streamlined staff administration workflows help reduce manual effort while improving compliance and visibility.

Enhanced Reporting and Analytics

Reporting capabilities have been expanded with more flexible analysis tools and deeper operational insights. Users can now generate summary analysis for report data, apply more refined aggregation criteria, and access new reporting options across contracts, staffing, recruitment and workforce performance. Combined with the new Analytics Dashboards, organisations have even greater visibility into the metrics that drive decision-making.

Improved Recruitment Management

Recruitment teams will benefit from new tools designed to improve candidate tracking and hiring workflows. Configurable rejection reasons provide better reporting and auditability, while vacancy location support allows applicants to filter opportunities more easily. These enhancements help organisations manage recruitment pipelines more effectively and improve the candidate experience.

Enhancements Across the Platform

We've delivered improvements across nearly every area of StaffSavvy, including document management, training records, time entry processing, payroll workflows, mobile usability and overall platform performance. This release also marks the beginning of a broader user experience refresh that will continue in future updates.
